Job Purpose:

The Director of Home and Entertainment Business is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the company's home and entertainment customer segments. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of products and services targeted towards both residential and business customers, with the goal of delivering high-quality and reliable internet connectivity solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the home and entertainment segment, aligned with the overall business objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive innovation and growth.
  • Lead the development of home and entertainment products and services, considering market demands and technological advancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, IT, and Brand to ensure successful product launches.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, upselling and cross-selling strategies, and optimizing pricing models. Collaborate with sales and brand teams to develop effective strategies for acquiring and retaining customers in the home and entertainment segment.
  • Responsible to set up end to end business, aligning Org charts, building string team and cross functional involvement of various teams.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the home and entertainment team. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture, attract and retain top talent, and provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members.
  • Develop & manage the budget for the home and entertainment segment. Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards in the home and entertainment sector. Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and protect the interests of the ISP and its customers.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and policies, ensuring the company's operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Professional Degree with minimum 10 years of prior experience in similar capacity in ISP or Telco industry

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of Managerial experience
  • Good knowledge of telecommunication market (products, services, tariff plans)
  • Advanced knowledge of sales and distribution operations
  • Business and budget planning skills
  • Project management skills
  • Strategic decision taking skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Legislative and normative legal provisions of Nepal (preferred)
