Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment solutions. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery, automate infrastructure and deployment processes, improve system reliability, and support continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for seamless software development, testing, deployment, and hosting
Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and efficiency
Evaluate and implement cost-effective solutions across cloud resources and services
Develop andmaintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Implement security best practices and proactively protect systems from cyber threats.
Collaborate closely with client-side development teams to support feature delivery, system maintenance, and R&D efforts
Participate in and contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decision-making
Mentor junior DevOps and support engineers by sharing knowledge and guiding on best practices.
Ensure thorough documentation of systems, pipelines, and processes for team-wide clarity and future scalability
Understand client needs and project KPIs, aligning DevOps processes to meet goals effectively
Guide client developers in following DevOps standards and best practices
Recommend system performance improvements through research and analysis of alternative technologies
Stay current with evolving DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry trends

Requirements:

Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar
Proficient with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
Good understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker,Kubernetes)
Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana,ELK, Datadog)
Understanding of network protocols, system performance, and security practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact directly with clients and internal stakeholders
A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and lead tasks to completion

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Knowledge of AWS or Azure
Experience with CI/CD tools
Experience with Terraform or similar tools
Good knowledge of Linux/Unix
Basic scripting skills in Python or Bash
Good understanding of Git
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Understanding of security and DevOps practices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced environment
