FHI 360 has been working in Nepal since 1993. Together with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and the private sector, FHI 360 works collaboratively in the areas of HIV, family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), health security, antimicrobial resistance, nutrition, COVID-19 response, procurement, and supply chain management, local capacity strengthening, civil society and media strengthening, governance reform and the environment and climate change.

Development of Air Quality Advocacy manual

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold pre-consultation meetings with advocacy experts and practitioners at national and local level.
  • Develop an outline of resource book on advocacy strategies and tools for air quality governance.
  • Develop first draft of resource book on advocacy strategies and tools relating to air quality.
  • With inputs and feedback from USAID Clean Air, finalize resource book on advocacy strategies and tools. 

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in social science, environmental justice, rural development or any other relevant field with five years of work experiences in environmental justice 
  • Good knowledge of advocacy, lobbying and networking for evidence-based advocacy
  • Good analytical skills and networking skills to engage with key stakeholders working in environmental sectors
  • Good command in oral in both Nepali and English languages
