Job Description

In collaboration with our team of tech geniuses, ex-credit officers, property addicts, and finance experts, the Marketing team has been continually offering the best services to the customers for over 10 years. We have two offices; one in Australia and another one in Nepal and most importantly we grew to over 470 happy employees and we still intend to grow, pandemic or not! That’s because our employees share the value of training and professional development so that we can continue to help Australians in tough situations with home loans as well as lead the way to produce a professional workforce in Nepal.

As a Design Manager, you are expected to drive the Design team to take initiative and coach them, ensure continuous improvements in the design process, and align the team goals to the strategic goals of the company. The incumbent is responsible for developing and managing all aspects of HLE’s design/creative output and conversion optimization.

Some of your deliverables are:

  • Ownership of online and offline design output and success of the design team
  • Align designs and creatives with stakeholder expectations, business goals, budget constraints, and deadlines
  • Come up with design solutions in collaboration with various teams
  • Recruitment, lead, and coach multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist the marketing team in increasing the online quality leads and traffic to the website and the technology team in providing UX/UI Resources to create great products.
  • Ensure creative projects are delivered in time
  • Plan, build, and maintain our branding throughout all creative assets.
  • Maintain continuous improvement in the website and product design system.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Degree in Digital Media, Creative Media, or similar
  • 5+ years in the design industry (with some experience in leading a small team)
  • Extensive experience working across multiple businesses in multiple territories.
  • Experience across all phases of a project - from the client brief to product launch.

Technical Skills:

  • Design fundamentals, layouts, typography & limitations of online and offline design work.
  • Strong working knowledge of online and offline design, brand development, and creative processes (ex. Design Thinking).
  • Extensive skills in Web, UX, UI, Graphics, Digital Ads Design, Wireframing
  • Knowledge of tools - XD, Figma, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, WordPress CMS
  • Excellent Leadership, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Desirable (not mandatory):
  • Understanding of Design Thinking, working experience in Agile/Lean Methodology, and using Jira
  • Experience with working in Branding and with both Product and Marketing Teams
  • Working knowledge of - Google Office Suite, Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Tag manager
  • Strong understanding of Conversion Optimisation | A/B testing
