Experience Required	:	More than or equal to 7 years
Professional Skill Required	:	Design Management Construction Management Value Engineering Autocad Building Information Modeling (BIM)

Other Specification

A formal engineering qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, Masters) – likely to be Mechanical, Electrical or possibly Civil based
7+ years’ experience with a contractor or Engineering consultancy
Experience of working or studying in UK with knowledge of UK codes desirable
A good knowledge of engineering quantities and programes
Good ability with engineering calculations and design reports
High proficiency in M365 and SharePoint
Able to work within a dynamic environment with good attention to detail
Able to work to tight deadlines and self-manage priorities against multiple tasks
IELTS C1 / C2 English language written & spoken

Job Description

Co-ordinating role between UK and Nepali engineers
Specialist in Hydropower and knowledge of other energy systems
Creation of technical documents and reports associated with various projects
Outline and detailed design and specification of hydropower projects taking including the civil, electrical and mechanical interfaces.
Examining the engineering requirements of designs and comparing this with the commercial and site constraints.
Organise yourself and a small team of engineers, technicians (and others) working on a variety of projects.
Assign & manage hours for each project and manage resource so that people are fully utilised
Know the sequence of jobs (in the office) and pre-empt the need for information/client input
Work as part of a team to suggest improvements which will benefit our clients.

Shift Work

The post will be required to undertake some shift work (early or late)
Weekend work will be required regularly
Overtime will be paid where appropriate
