Job Description

Overall Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for managing the Oral Health Care activities of clients for the company

Specific Role and Responsibilities:

Screen and identify diseases, injuries, or malformations of teeth, gums, or related oral structures and provide preventive services
Provide prostheses or other assistive devices management care to patients
Initiate, plan, organize, dental health programs
Participate in teaching learning program and community dentistry
Segregate, consult, and discuss cases with Senior consultant in cases of treatment uncertainties
Promote intra and inter departmental consultation
Keep patients records and use available data to conduct research
Initiate research and help in advocacy
Educate clients on maintaining proper oral health
Communicate with team regarding patient treatment plans
Prescribe medications as necessary
Carefully document all medications, screen and consultations
Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff
Ensure proper handling and uses of all equipment
