About the job

This is a full-time on-site role for DCDP ( Indian Cuisine ) at Lavie Hospitality Group located in Boudha Kathmandu.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop enticing Indian Curry and Tandoori dishes, preparing menu, training and supervising junior Chefs.
  •  Preparing Indian cuisines as per the recipe standard, consistency in quality, portioning and presentation.
  • Monitor the quality checks, health & hygiene compliance and HACCP protocols, 
  • Monitoring food safety & temperatures, maintaining cleanliness and good order within work areas,
  • Develop a process and provide training to the chefs on how to handle and take care of tandoor oven and other Indian related equipment

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years and above of work experience in a fast paced Indian restaurants
  • Working in a team and adjusting to the needs of the business.
  • Good knowledge of Indian spices, cuisines, herbs and cooking methods.
