  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related role
  • Proficiency in SQL, including writing basic to advanced queries (SELECT, JOINs, filtering, aggregations), with strong experience in SQL Server environments
  • Working knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Solid programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting (including knowledge of variables, loops, functions, and common libraries)
  • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and basic programming concepts
  • Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and database design principles
  • Experience with various file formats such as CSV, JSON, XML, and Parquet
  • Exposure to version control systems like Git is a plus
  • Experience working with reporting or BI tools such as SSRS and/or Power BI
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Experience with Power BI report creation and dashboard development
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix command line operations
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms
  • Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
  • Familiarity with data formats like JSON, CSV, and Parquet
  • Understanding of data governance, data security, and best practices in data handling

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join our team at Audit Partnership in the fast-paced environment of multinational companies. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our organization by designing, building, and maintaining efficient data systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities for Junior Level:

  • Assist in building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows
  • Write and optimize basic SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
  • Support data quality checks and troubleshoot data issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
  • Help document data processes and pipelines
  • Learn and grow your skills in Python scripting and data engineering tools

Key Responsibilities for Mid-Level:

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines using SQL
  • Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval in SQL Server environments
  • Work with various file formats and data ingestion techniques
  • Support and develop reporting solutions, collaborating with BI teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data and reporting requirements
  • Document data processes, pipelines, and workflows
