We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst who will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from large datasets and developing reliable and actionable MIS reports. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization using tools such as Excel and Power BI, and should have working knowledge of SQL and Python. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and performance tracking of our loan portfolio, recovery operations, and customer behavior trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large volumes of customer and loan data to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Design, develop, and maintain MIS reports including:
• Overdue/Delinquency reports
• Recovery performance dashboards
• Loan disbursement summaries
• Portfolio aging analysis
• Executive summaries for management reviews
• Ensure MIS reports are automated, accurate, and easy to access across departments.
• Work closely with the credit, collections, and operations teams to understand data requirements.
• Create and manage data dashboards using Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Write SQL queries to pull and manipulate data from databases.
• Use Python to automate data processing tasks, generate reports, or perform deeper analysis as needed.
• Assist in forecasting, trend analysis, and predictive modeling for loan portfolio performance.
• Continuously improve data accuracy, quality, and reporting processes.
• Train team members in data handling and visualization best practices, if needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, preferably in a financial services or NBFC environment.
• Strong command over Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros), Power BI, SQL, and Python.
• Proven experience in developing structured and user-friendly MIS systems.
• Knowledge of financial products, loan structures, and collection processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
