Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a data-driven and analytical thinker to join our team as a Data Analyst. This role will focus on tracking sales performance, distributor efficiency, cost analysis, and real-time BI reporting using Power BI, SQL, and automation tools. The analyst will directly report to company leadership, ensuring data-driven decisions in sales, cost optimization, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Distributor Performance Tracking

Monitor real-time sales data from distributors & retailers using Power BI dashboards.
Identify sales trends, repeat purchase rates, and retailer engagement to optimize distribution strategies.
Provide daily/weekly sales reports to Area Sales Managers & leadership.
Analyze data product-wise, area-wise, sales team-wise, expenditure-wise and establish cross relationships to aid decision making.

2. Cost Tracking & Cost Card Analysis

Track expenses across production, distribution, and operations using Power BI.
Create cost cards per product to monitor per-bottle costs.
Analyze cost fluctuations in ENA, packaging, transportation, and other cost centers.
Provide alerts if raw material costs increase, helping in pricing strategy adjustments.

3. Field Visit & GPS Tracking

Implement Power BI maps to track field visits based on geolocation data from sales reps.
Ensure route optimization for sales & distributor deliveries using Power BI & Google Maps API.
Verify retailer visits using GPS camera photos and track coverage in low-performing areas.

4. Power BI & Business Intelligence Implementation

Automate data collection from VAT bills, distributor invoices, and field sales reports.
Use Power BI, SQL, and Excel automation to replace manual WhatsApp reports.
Set up automated alerts for sales trends, underperforming areas, and cost increases.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Power BI (MUST) – Advanced dashboard creation, real-time data visualization, and automated reporting.
Data Analytics and SQL – Ability to handle large datasets, write queries, and create interactive reports.
Cost Tracking and Financial Analysis – Experience in cost-per-product tracking and business finance insights.
Automation and BI Tools – Knowledge of Power Automate, Google Data Studio, or other BI tools.
FMCG / Liquor Industry Experience (Preferred) – Understanding of sales cycles, distributor networks, and pricing models.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving – Ability to convert raw data into actionable business insights.
