About the job

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Cyber Security Trainer to join our team and empower learners with the skills to safeguard digital assets in today’s evolving threat landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and techniques, and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions on cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices.
Teach topics such as network security, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, and risk management.
Provide hands-on training using tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Kali Linux, and other industry-standard platforms.
Develop lesson plans, practical labs, and assessments aligned with industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, and others.
Guide students in solving real-world cybersecurity challenges and preparing for certifications.
Stay updated with the latest trends, threats, and advancements in cybersecurity to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
Mentor and provide constructive feedback to students to help them build confidence and expertise.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
Proficiency in cybersecurity tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Industry certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or similar credentials are strongly preferred.
Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
