Job Description

Position Title: CSD Head  
Department: Corporate Service Department (CSD) 
Position Reports To: COO/CEO 

Job Summary: 
The CSD Head leads the Corporate Service Department, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant internal operations across administration, procurement, and legal functions. The role focuses on effective resource management, cost efficiency, and system improvement to support the organization’s strategic goals. 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategy, Compliance, and Policy Management 

  • Lead and manage all functions within the Corporate Service Department: Administration & Operations, Procurement, and Internal Audit & Legal. 
  • Responsible for legal and compliance matters including contract validation, regulatory filings, and company secretarial duties. 
  • Establish and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with company policies. 
  • Develop, implement, and regularly review SOPs and internal policies to strengthen operational effectiveness. 
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, company policies, and audit requirements. 
  • Review and approve key procurement and legal documentation before final management submission. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better departmental efficiency and service delivery. 
  • Represent the department in management meetings and provide regular updates on operations and compliance. 

Operations and Administrative Management 

  • Oversee office administration, maintenance, safety, utilities, and outsourcing operations to ensure an effective work environment. 
  • Ensure timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency, transparency, and compliance. 
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and ensure their quality, reliability, and cost-effective service delivery. 
  • Oversee company assets to ensure their optimal utilization, maintenance, and accurate record management. 
  • Oversee vehicle management, including allocation, maintenance, and cost control. 
  • Manage facility operations including workspace allocation, layout, and its efficient utilization. 
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure operational support aligns with company goals. 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards in all activities. 

People Management 

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate departmental staff to ensure performance, accountability, and professional growth. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management as per organizational needs.
