We are seeking a Critical Facility Operations Engineer (L1) to join our mission-critical Data Center operations. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in critical facilities, data centers, power, or telecom operations, and excels in team management and stress handling. This role offers opportunities for professional growth while ensuring 24×7 operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform 24×7 real-time monitoring of critical data center systems, including power, cooling, IT systems, and facility infrastructure
Monitor power systems such as HT/LT, UPS, DG sets, PDUs, and ATS
Monitor cooling systems, including chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, and PAHUs
Monitor network and IT systems through NMS platforms
Operate and monitor integrated Building Management System (BMS), Electrical Management System (EMS), Chiller Plant Manager System (CPMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
Detect, acknowledge, log, escalate, and close incidents in line with approved SOPs, escalation matrices, and SLA requirements
Act as the first-line responder for infrastructure alarms and events, and coordinate with Facilities, Network, and Security teams
Assist with incident containment, service restoration, and post-incident activities
Assist with planned maintenance activities, change management, and maintenance window coordination
Assist in emergency response procedures, simulations, and disaster recovery drills
Provide customer support, including customer access coordination, escorting, and authorized remote hands activities
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures during all shifts

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering with diverse knowledge of Power, Cooling, and IT
1-3 years in data centers, critical facilities, power plants, telecom, ISP, or industrial operations
Basic understanding of critical power systems (HT/LT, UPS, DG sets, ATS, PDUs)
Working knowledge of cooling systems such as chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, and PAHUs
Familiarity with monitoring and management platforms, including iBMS, EMS, CPMS, DCIM, BMS, CCTV, ACS, FAS, and NMS
Ability to interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment layouts, and alarm dashboards
Strong discipline in incident handling, escalation procedures, and documentation
Good communication and coordination skills
Willingness to work in 24×7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Strong safety-first mindset with adherence to operational procedures
Must own a motorbike and possess a valid driving license, enabling reliable 24×7 shift mobility and prompt response to emergency call-outs, particularly during off-hours or adverse conditions
