Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Set credit policies, credit lines, procedures and standards in conjunction with senior managers.
Analyze potential loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loans.
Review and update credit and loan files.
Review loan agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.
Should be fully acquainted with overall banking including credit & operations functions.
Should possess knowledge of NRB Directives, prevailing laws applicable to financial sector and prevailing accounting standards.
Should possess excellent business communication, financial analysis and interpersonal skills.
Analyze, recommend or authorize commercial, real estate or credit loans
Counsel customers on financial aspects and methods of payments
Analyze, evaluate and approve or reject loan files
Establish appointments with applicants to discuss about loan terms and conditions
Analyze financial situation of applicant, determine whether they present a high risk as borrowers
Provide information and explain customers the different type of loans and credit options available
Determine suitable products or services that will meet the customer needs
Maintain, review and update credit and loan files
Establish repayment schedule

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Candidates having Masters degree shall be preferred
Must have good communication skills
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy and attention to detail
Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills
Proficiency in PC skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
