FHI 360 has been working in Nepal since 1993. Together with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and the private sector, FHI 360 works collaboratively in the areas of HIV, family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), health security, antimicrobial resistance, nutrition, COVID-19 response, procurement, and supply chain management, local capacity strengthening, civil society and media strengthening, governance reform and the environment and climate change.

COVID-19 Vaccination Promotion

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with Family Welfare Division (FWD), Provincial Health Directorate (PHDs), health offices and municipalities to identify the gaps, needs and access for COVID-19 vaccination coverage and equity.
Provide technical support to the FWD to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained for COVID-19 vaccine coverage.
Support to track/monitor and analyze the COVID-19 vaccination coverage through DHIS2 and vaccine received by Central Vaccine Store (CVS) and respective Provincial Health Logistic Management Center (PHLMC) and ensure the vaccination coverage against vaccine received in municipality level.
Support to prepare COVID-19 vaccination campaign (mobile and school based) plan as required and availability of vaccine.
Support FWD to develop plans and coordinate with provinces to manage vaccine distribution and rollout activities.
Engage in any reporting, evidence generation/sharing and learning activities related to COVID -19 vaccine and other national immunization program (NIP) as per need in close coordination with the FWD and FHI 360 team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public health or relevant subjects with experience in COVID-19 or other vaccine related activities.
Working experience with FWD Management Division and other government entities and stakeholders for vaccination management.
Experience in working effectively across various teams within the project and organization, and building and sustaining positive working relationships with NGOs, private sectors, government and other stakeholders.
Proactive in managing multiple tasks, managing and working in virtual work environment, and flexible and open for managing time for working with different teams
Excellent oral and written English and Nepali including documentation skills.
