Job Description

  • Good geographical knowledge of the market/area. FMCG sales background are perfered
  • Reaching the targets and goals set for area
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
  • Monitoring team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies:
  • Managing sales teams. This includes setting sales targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching and feedback, and identifying training needs.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships. This includes developing customer-specific sales strategies, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Analysing market trends: Responsible for analysing market trends and competitor activities within their zone. This includes monitoring pricing strategies, identifying new product opportunities, and staying up-to-date on changes in consumer behaviour and preferences.
  • Reporting and forecasting: Responsible for providing regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. This includes tracking sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to improve sales results.
  • Budgeting and financial management. This includes forecasting sales revenue, managing expenses, and ensuring that sales teams stay within budget.
  • Sales forecasting and planning: Responsible for analysing sales data and trends to forecast future sales and create sales plans for the zone. This involves understanding the market, identifying new opportunities, and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Sales performance monitoring: Responsible for monitoring the performance of sales teams in their zone. This includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement, and creating action plans to address any issues.
  • Recruitment and training: Responsible for recruiting and training new sales team members in their zone. This includes identifying talent, conducting interviews, and providing ongoing training and coaching to ensure that sales teams are successful.
  • Relationship management with distributors and SS. This involves understanding their needs, addressing any concerns, and ensuring that they have the support they need to sell the company's products effectively.
