Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Counselor to join our education consultancy team. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one guidance to students, particularly for UK study opportunities, assist with admissions and visa processes, conduct workshops for students and parents, and collaborate closely with the admissions and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

Provide personalized one-on-one counseling, especially for students applying to UK universities.
Guide students in selecting suitable courses, universities, and career paths based on their skills, interests, and qualifications.
Stay updated on UK and international education systems, courses, and admission requirements.

Admissions & Visa Support:

Assist students with admission procedures, documentation, and UK visa processes.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of all student records and documents.

Workshops & Orientation:

Conduct orientation programs, workshops, and information sessions for students and parents, with guidance on UK education pathways.

Client Interaction:

Handle student and parent inquiries in person, via phone, email, or social media professionally.
Maintain high standards of confidentiality and ethical counseling practices.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to achieve institutional enrollment targets.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports of counseling activities and outcomes.
Mentor and support junior team members if required.

CRM & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all client communications.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in counseling, student advising, or related roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and data management.
Empathetic, patient, and able to handle sensitive information
