Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and professional Counselor to provide guidance and support to students/clients. The ideal candidate will help individuals navigate personal, academic, or career-related challenges, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one counseling sessions for students seeking education abroad
Assist students with university applications, course selection, visa documentation, SOP preparation, and end-to-end application processing
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission and visa policies for countries including Australia, UK, Canada, and others
Guide students through the entire application and visa process, ensuring all required documents and requirements are completed accurately
Shortlist universities and programs best suited to the student’s academic background, career goals, budget, and preferences
Guide students through admissions and visa processes, ensuring all requirements are completed accurately and on time
Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, applications, and follow-ups
Coordinate with universities, embassies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth application and visa processing
Stay updated on international education trends, university programs, and visa policies

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management, Education, or a related field
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas study counseling
Strong knowledge of universities, courses, admission requirements, visa application procedures, and visa lounge processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy
Proactive, approachable, and solution-oriented mindset
