The COUNSELOR will be responsible specially to look after the below mentioned project. In relation, the COUNSELOR is requested to provide needful insights and support to the organization as and when needed and requested by the Authority.
School for justice – funded by free the girls (Netherlands)
The School for Justice (SFJ) programme is a programme for SEC survivors who fell victim to SEC as a child in which they get a chance to become change agents and as such assist in combatting/preventing SEC and raising awareness on SEC.
Promoting Change agents is the core component of the SFJ program. Participants in the School for Justice are SEC survivors determined to change the world for the better. They want to eliminate the SEC through their own empowerment and active involvement in the fight against SEC.
The Counselor will be supporting the overall motivational process ensuring mental wellness.
Job Specifications
1. Perform psychosocial counseling to the beneficiaries of ‘School for Justice’ program being flexible with their timing.
2. Develop monthly report based on the counseling session with individual details
3. Organize individual/group sessions, webinars, and workshops on intensive and comprehensive topics that will help the participants build confidence and knowledge, motivate to study well as well as to participate in a range of societal activities organized by the project
4. Travel to field office as per requirement.
5. Smooth coordination with hostel warden and program staff
6. Attend programs/events/workshops and in the activities of the project
7. Related task assigned by program manager related the project
