Job Description

  • Partner with senior leadership to identify speaking engagements, media outlets to showcase Daraz as the leading e-commerce player in Nepal
  • Assists senior leadership in developing presentations, speeches, talking points for internal and external communications. These include communications to employees
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with members of the media
  • Work in partnership with our agency to provide counsel for key internal stakeholders in building media strategy plans to drive message consistency and impact
  • Develops and implements a communications strategy (covering all earned and owned channels e.g. Linkedin, website, Twitter, Facebook), that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand
  • Collaborate with the People & Organisation team to position Daraz as the preferred employer by uplifting our corporate branding and strategy
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of the corporate website, including methods to deliver messages, ease of navigation, and clarity of information; ensures that all content is current and relevant.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field 
  • Minimally 3 years of experience in public relations, including supervisory and comprehensive marketing experience required
  • Strong accountability and ownership values
  • A problem solver with good time management skills
