Our Goal is to build a Vocational Training Center in the Solu-Khumbu Region, providing local teenagers (age 15+) with the practical technical skills needed to find a job locally, enabling them to stay in the Region and support their families. Several courses will be proposed, on specific fields, such as : 

  • Construction & Building Trades : Electricity/ Plumbing/Carpentry
  • Tourism Trades : Hospitality/Cooking/Trekking Agency
  • Bi-qualification programs
  • Later on, additional fields ( Agro-food processing, …) to be promoted.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cooking Instructor (Continental Cuisine) to join our vocational training center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality culinary training to students, ensuring they acquire practical and theoretical knowledge of continental cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lessons on continental cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Train students on food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices.
  • Prepare lesson plans, demonstrations, and assessments to evaluate student progress.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure a safe and clean learning environment.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and support to students throughout the training program.
