Roles and responsibilities of this job

Gross Salary : Approximately 485,000.00 per year (Including allowances and bonus)
Benefits : Provident fund, services pay, Medical insurgences, Life and Accident Insurgences, Annual and sick leave, and uniform

Duty and Responsibilities :

Services as a Cook at an official residence of a high - ranking foreign diplomat
The incumbent is responsible for preparing daily meals at the residence for the diplomat's family as well as for formal dinner and large cocktail receptions ; proposing and executing menus for official functions; keeping record of means; adding new recipes to the residences files and maintaining kitchen precincts
The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating supply needs; shopping for supplies, originating and chaining the kitchen, setting up and cleaning for the events; and maintaining high standers of food cleaning

Qualification Required

Completion of secondary school is required
A minimum of two years of experience as cook at a residences of an expatriate or at a reputable hotel is required
Good working knowledge in spiking/ reading/ writing Nepali is required.
Good communication and customer service skills are required. Good knowledge of recipes preparing a variety of cuisine for required. Excellent planning organization and interpersonal skill are required.
