Department: Audit
Reports to: Project Manager
Office Timing: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Working Days: Monday-Friday

Job Summary

The Contract Compliance Analyst supports Contract Compliance audits by validating whether contractual terms are accurately executed within transactional data. This role requires the ability to bridge contractual language with data analysis to identify execution gaps, compliance risks, and potential recovery opportunities. The position involves analytical rigor, contract interpretation, and audit discipline, with increasing responsibility commensurate with experience.

Core Responsibilities & Professional Competencies

Contract Interpretation Experience

Reviewing commercial contracts or agreements.
Ability to interpret contractual clauses and translate them into data validation logic to identify potential risk and noncompliance areas.

Data Analysis & Audit Testing

Experience working with large, multisource transactional datasets.
Testing transactional data against defined contractual rules, controls, or audit logic.
Identifying discrepancies, overcharges, and noncompliance patterns.
Documenting audit findings clearly with appropriate evidence support.

Professional & Behavioral Expectations

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Application of professional judgment when dealing with ambiguous or complex contract language.
Capability to ask structured, risk-based questions.
Consistent maintenance of audit quality while working under timeline pressures.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Required Skill Set

Analytical & Technical Skills (Core)

Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking
Comfort in handling numerical data and large datasets
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including filters, formulas, and pivot tables (knowledge of Power Query is an added advantage)
Ability to apply audit logic consistently and accurately across datasets

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Power Query or other data transformation techniques is an advantage
Basic understanding of Microsoft Access and other data management tools (preferred)

Soft Skills

Good communication skills (verbal and written English)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
Rational and logical thinking with strong problem-solving ability

Minimum Experience Threshold

At least 1 year and more relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

Contract Audit
Internal Audit or Commercial Audit
Financial Data Analysis
Accounts Payable Audit / AP Analytics
