Job Description

Capkon Nepal is seeking for experienced content writers and social media managers for its in-house digital marketing team in its Kathmandu office to handle its digital marketing, content writing and social media strategies across different brands. Reporting directly to Chief Operations Officer (Australia), you will be creating contents and managing social media platforms in collaboration with the marketing team.

Your Duties:

  • Creating and delivering engaging, authentic, on-brand and high performing content through the group’s social media channels, website and email marketing campaigns
  • Daily management, planning, scheduling and creation of monthly content calendar across social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Engaging, managing/monitoring social community
  • Plan and deliver regular social media advertising campaigns
  • Planning, copywriting and coordinating of blogs written by various individuals
  • Copywriting for internal stakeholders as requested
  • Coordination of social media influencer campaigns
  • Styling and photography of product for posts as required, including coordination of social media photoshoots
  • Optimising social content to ensure sales conversion
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for social media growth campaigns.
  • Staying ahead of global social trends to ensure our social presence stays fresh, relevant and authentic.
  • Responding to social media enquiries in accordance with company policies

Skill and Experience:

  • Travel, Hiking and Trekking enthusiast
  • Strong copywriting, story-telling and communication skills with exceptional spelling, grammar, style and tone
  • Good knowledge about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Video and Photo editing skills by using appropriate apps
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in similar role
  • Photography skills and/or experience working on photoshoots
  • Basic design skills
  • Knowledge of one or more of the fields: financial services, tourism, trekking, jewellery, clothing or fashion and eCommerce  
  • High level of creativity, humorous & ability to think outside the box
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently and to deadline, making decisions along the way and prioritising all tasks
  • A positive can-do attitude and hunger for success
  • Proactive, confident personality with ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
