• Research a given topic and create content that will engage users
• Manage a team of writers and is responsible for curating fresh, relevant, and informative content
• Direct the creation of new content and determine when and re-surface prior work during relevant news
• Help the team craft and refine ideas, cultivate sources, report, and write articles daily      
• Train writers and contribute to building up a high-quality writer pool. 
• Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
• Prepare a report at the end of the month
• Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies
• Prepare/implement weekly/monthly content strategy by communicating with team members
