Job Location: Baluwatar, Kathmandu

Job Description:

• Do a FINAL REVIEW and EDITING of scripts for MySecondTeacher Nepal, written in Nepali + English (mixed language) of a variety of subjects and of different academic levels which will be used in making video lessons
• Ensure that the language used is correct and simple, and the content is understandable
• Highlight parts in the script that are not understood simply, communicate with the content team regarding those parts and review those parts again before the script is ready to shoot
• Oversee the video shoots of scripts to ensure correct and smooth delivery of scripts from the Production Control Room
• Control the dialogue delivery and flow of the dialogue and rectify during the shoot if there are any errors
• Review and quality check videos to suggest corrections to ensure the video lessons are of the best quality
• Translate Nepali scripts to English and vice-versa
• Actively participate in team meetings and maintain cohesion with language experts, content team and animation team, wherever required

Job Specification:

• Bachelors’ degree preferably communication, Nepali or English.
• 2 years work experience in a related field or position.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Nepali and English
• Ability to communicate effectively with various members of the organization
• Sense of responsibility for the deadlines and objectives of various projects
• Ownership of the quality of work that is expected of them
• Willingness to take up new roles and responsibilities when needed
• Organizational skills
• Excellent copy-editing skills in Nepali
• Nepali typing skills or ability to type in unicode is a must
