Job Position: Content Expert- Online BBA Degree, My Second Teacher International

Module: International Business and World Markets

Job Location: Kathmandu and Biratnagar

Salary: 600 USD Equivalent for competent and deserving candidate

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum mapping and alignment with academic standards according to the module specifications.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand documentation policies and curate documentation necessary according to the subject matter according to those policies.
• Curate scripts for narration according to the sample provided.
• Conduct research to enhance the content. This may also include identifying relevant topics, fact-checking, and analyzing sources to generate information.
• After researching, write content maintaining an appropriate tone in their writing and by adhering to the guideline provided. For the first edit, the content experts check for errors in facts, grammar, punctuation and style.
• Create powerpoint presentation style guides showcasing elegant and effective visual approaches to documentation including providing design team with relevant pictures and animation ideas for the relevant content, suggest other ideas for interactive and visual resources.
• Create content for scenarios, simulations and case studies; provide artifacts and online resources allowing for students to simulate work from the module.
• Regularly communicate with coordinator, writers and designers to develop content and ensure that deadlines are met.
• Provide documentation training for content experts from your department (if applicable).
• Find ways to enhance user experience, identify custom add-ons to the module (eg. quizzes, assessments, mock tests, essays, tutorials).
• Sharing of best practices and resources.
• Dissemination of materials and information to relevant department.
• Provide feedback during and after the other departments have completed their work such as design and animations. 
• Provide final review and feedback on overall module that has been prepared by the department.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

General Requirements:

• Familiarity with London Met BBA  curriculum programs, textbooks, materials, and instructional strategies related to the subject matter. 
• 3-5 years of experience and demonstrated success in teaching the subject matter.
• Deep knowledge of content strategy and documentation best practices.
• Excellent communicator, highly organized and able to avoid inconsistencies.
• Strong pedagogical subject matter knowledge and the ability to plan, implement and adjust instruction in alignment with the academic framework.
• Collaborative, flexible, innovative, and the ability to meet frequent deadlines aided by a relentless sense of urgency and commitment to set goals.
• Familiar with Google, YouTube and Microsoft Office products.
• Understanding of plagiarism as a serious offence and ability to create content by creating original materials for the scripts and slides.

Desired Skills:

• Understanding the landscape of online communications and familiar with computer systems and software, and frequently use search engines to conduct research.
• Writing and editing with speed and accuracy, displaying a strong knowledge of written and oral English communication and the ability to create clear, engaging, and informative text.
• Expertise in specific subject matter and/or a level of preparedness sufficient to create challenging material.
