• Edit and publish 4-6 articles per day while leading the team of writers and researchers in supervision of the Editing Supervisor.
  
• Proofread, edit spelling, grammar and syntax, ensuring the contents meets the company’s style guideline.
• Analyze data and analytics, and seek to increase reader engagement and retention.
• Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices.
• Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
• Write few Editorials and feature articles per month under the supervision of the Editing Supervisor
• Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication
• Verify if the writer has submitted drafts with appropriate word count, contextual coherence and credible sources.
• Verify contents and information, organize, modify and update existing content. 
• Send rewrites if the submitted draft does not meet our expectations. Keep track of the resubmitted pieces and publish them as per standards. 
• Look after the Content Update process and ensure publishing of quality updates.
• Supervise and guide the team of writers and researchers. Keep track of the frequently repeated issues, and engage in training and disciplinary actions for better performance of the team. 
• Closely works with editors, publishers, proof-readers, writers, management, and all the other stakeholders.
• Suggest/work with the team in the formation of new categories in the magazine. 
• The Content Editor must be able to utilize status reports in the maintenance of content calendar schedules and the identification of issues.
