Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a responsible and technically skilled Computer Lab Assistant to support the smooth operation of the computer lab, assist students and teachers, maintain computer systems and equipment, and ensure the lab is organized and ready for classes and activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assist students and teachers with computer-related activities and technical issues.
Maintain and monitor computers, printers, networking equipment, and other lab devices.
Ensure all computers and required software are ready for classes.
Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
Maintain proper records of lab equipment and software.
Ensure the computer lab is clean, organized, and properly managed.
Assist teachers during computer classes and practical sessions.
Install, update, and maintain required software and applications.
Monitor proper use of computers and ensure lab rules are followed.
Support school activities involving technology and computer systems.
Perform other computer lab-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a computer lab, school, or educational environment.
Good knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic networking.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and general computer applications.
Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with teachers and staff.
Responsible, organized, patient, and detail-oriented.
