  • The Lab Assistant-Computer/Physics should have the ability to logically solve the basic technical issues and have deep knowledge in the current software applications of the school, college or company/the technical equipment or machinery needed for a particular physics lab activity or purpose.
  • The Lab Assistant-Computer/Physics should be a good communicator and courteous, approachable,friendly in nature to maintain healthy relationship with the students and concerned authorities.

  • The The Lab Assistant-Computer/Physics should be positive and helpful to clear the student's doubt and repetitive computer/technical issues or questions without hesitation.

Job Description

  • To help the students in using- the computers and peripherals in the computer laboratory/ physics laboratory equipments and materials and resolve their queries related to use of the equipments/devices.
  • To keep the computers and other lab equipments in a clean and maintained stage and encourage the users for taking necessary precautions in the labs/setting of laboratory equipments/apparatus before the practical on students allotted table.
  • To keep a watch on the performance of the equipments/devices and get them serviced time to time.
  • To analyze basic equipment/devices malfunctions and perform repairs on optical, electrical equipments and report immediately on any damages or malfunction of computer devices/lab equipments to the concerned authorities.
  •  To assist on technical issues and learn new software and hardware applications/ assist on minor repairs to laboratory equipments and learn new real world application through interactive activities and labs.
  • To carry out routine tasks accurately  and ensure that the lab is well-stocked and resourced
