Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Computer Hardware Technician to join our IT and editorial team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, configuring, troubleshooting, benchmarking, and repairing computer hardware, as well as assisting and creating technical content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose hardware issues and determine appropriate fixes.
  • Perform repairs on a wide range of computer hardware including motherboards, CPUs, RAM, power supplies, and hard drives.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on repaired systems.
  • Benchmark hardware performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Review, compare and test various hardware and components.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and inventory.
  • Provide excellent customer service by advising clients on maintenance and hardware solutions.
  • Edit articles, reviews, and features for accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
  • Collaborate with writers and journalists to develop content ideas.
  • Provide technical insights for articles focusing on hardware and technology.
