Communication Officer

Job Type:  Time Bound Contract 

Duty Station: Kathmandu  

Role and Responsibility:

The Communications Officer will support our internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate communication material, respond to inquiries from the public and media and coordinate dissemination events among other.

To succeed as a Communications Officer, the incumbent should be able to think creatively, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's Degree with experience as a Communications Officer or equivalent experience in a similar role is strongly desired.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in media and communication, journalism or relevant field
  

Experience, Competencies and others:

• 3 years’ experience in social communication/media field
  
• Experience in designing publication materials and use of infographics
  
• Experience of working with donor funded organization in communication field
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms
  
• Excellent in both verbal and written communication in English and Nepali Languages
  
• Excellent Interpersonal & Presentation skills
