Position Title: Communication Intern

Work Hours and Duration: 4 months (Mon to Fri, 5 days a week) – Possibility of full-time after performance review

Payment: Will be provided only a Monthly Stipend

Job Description:

  • Prepare social media content for the organization and its associate organizations for Instagram and Facebook
  • Prepare content and update the website of the organization
  • Use graphical and other software for reports, pamphlets, articles, photos, videos, etc.
  • Prepare scripts, designs, and content writing for different materials of the organization
  • Work closely with community development and outreach personnel at office and field level
  • Track work progress, online social media progress, organize and report to management
  • Conduct digitalization work, written translation (English to Nepali and Nepali to English)  
  • Gather and organize field level contents and keep record
  • Travel to rural areas of Nepal with research team; support and gather content
  • Support other team in
  • Conduct promotional work for the organization as required with different clients and stakeholders
  • Other as assigned by management
  • The position will report directly to the Research team

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's completed or HIGHER in Mass communication/Journalism/Communication, Information Technology, or any Social Sciences degree
  • Excellent verbal and written Nepali and English
  • Previous experience in designing, content creation, and social media handling will be given preference
  • Should be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
  • Should have excellent organization and communication skills
  • Should be able to take criticism provided on work conducted and adapt to it immediately
  • Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficient in English and Nepali languages with good writing skills
  • Should be able to formulate emails and letters
  • Sound knowledge of Photoshop, In design, Canva, or other Graphical Software is highly desirable
  • Open to travel to rural areas of Nepal with minimal amenities
  • Should be open to work flexible schedule as per need
