Together with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, and the private sector, FHI 360 works collaboratively in the areas of HIV, family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), health security, antimicrobial resistance, nutrition, COVID-19 response, procurement, and supply chain management, local capacity strengthening, civil society and media strengthening, governance reform and the environment and climate change.

Clinical Management Support

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct supportive supervision of Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC)  Nepal implementing partners (IPs) and clinical mentoring of centers in districts supported by EpiC Nepal and provide technical backstopping to selected IPs. 
  • Conduct Continuing Medical Education at selected antiretroviral therapy (ART)  centers. 
  • Preparation for training and orientation organized by EpiC Nepal. 
  • Facilitate sessions of various trainings, and weekly case managers meeting organized by EpiC Nepal. 
  • Prepare reports of training conducted. 
  •  Support in coordination, management, and documentation of EpiC Nepal consultants. 
  • Support in preparation and editing technical documents of EpiC Nepal as per need. 
  • Support in psychosocial need assessment if required. 
  • Support any other deliverables as requested by the supervisor/technical monitor. 

Qualifications 

  • MBBS with master’s degree in public health or equivalent 
  • Experience in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)  programs including clinical management of HIV and Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and ART. 
  • Training in clinical management of HIV and training in STI case management is preferred.
