Job Description

The Client Manager will serve as a liaison between the company and the potential and existing clients. His/Her job will be to make sure the clients’ needs are understood and met at all times, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction. The Client manager will maintain and develop client-business relationships. 

  • S/he will communicate with existing and potential clients on a daily basis and make sure orders are being processed, produced and delivered in a timely manner
  • S/he will be responsible for ensuring high quality standards are maintained in every sample and rug shipment being made to each client
  • S/he will get to know each client’s preferences, and specific requirements and communicate this on a regular basis with the design studio and production team, to make sure that whatever is desired by the client is being delivered
  • S/he will conduct random inspections for color, yarn quality, weaving facility etc, to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • S/he will work with the production team to ensure timely production and delivery of all products
  • S/he will schedule client visits and be available for client meetings, dinners lunches, factory visits, airport pick ups and drops whenever required and beyond office hours
  • S/he will make sure every member of the team understands what each client needs
  • S/he will pay special attention to new client enquiries, and respond with 
  • information and quotes within 24 hours, expediting the sampling process, and following up regularly, taking meetings, giving presentations - doing everything in his/her power to acquire the account
  • In the event of quality issues, complaints or grievances, her role in pacifying the clients will be imperative. S/he will consult with management and take immediate action to issue an official apology/explanation and/or compensate the client, whichever deemed necessary by management
  • S/he will be available on Email,WhatsApp and Phone, six days a week to answer customers’ queries
  • Travel on the job if necessary

Other Duties:

  • S/he will help the business meet sales and revenue goals
  • S/he will design plans to achieve these goals and create strategies to combat potential revenue losses
  • S/he must also perform research to identify new potential clients
  • The Client Manager must ensure that clients are satisfied with the company at all times and will bring in repeated business by resolving any outstanding issues
  • S/he must be ready to develop creative solutions for existing clients, as well as pursue new clientele opportunities
