Job Summary
The Civil Overseer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, supervision, monitoring, and quality control of civil construction works related to hydropower and infrastructure projects. The role involves site inspections, measurement verification, estimation support, reporting, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in cost estimation and quantity surveying of civil works.
Conduct site inspections, measurements, and verification of construction activities.
Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
Support quality control and quality assurance activities at project sites.
Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
Assist in supervising contractors and construction teams.
Maintain records related to construction works and project activities.
Use computer applications for reporting, documentation, and project-related tasks.
Coordinate with engineers and project management teams for effective project execution.

Education

Diploma (Overseer) in Civil Engineering from a recognized educational institution.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of work experience in civil construction projects such as:

Hydropower Projects
Roads
Buildings
Water Supply Systems
Irrigation Projects
Other infrastructure development projects

Age Requirement

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: Below 40 years

Required Skills

Knowledge of civil construction practices and supervision.
Ability to prepare estimates and technical reports.
Understanding of quality control procedures.
Computer proficiency, including MS Office applications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in remote project locations.

Additional Preference

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are permanent residents of the local municipalities and districts associated with the Seti Nadi-3 Hydropower Project area. Candidates may be required to submit proof of permanent residency or a recommendation letter from the concerned local authority.
