Job Description

Prepare schedule, coordinate, manage and monitor the execution of the construction works of assigned projects.
Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval.
Supporting timely and quality of delivery for project engineering work in support of relevant technical and regulatory standards.
Coordination and supervision of the subcontractor’s works to be completed on tie within quality standards.
Establishing effective stakeholder relationships, both internally, and externally including clients, architects and builders.
Making calculations about loads and stresses.
Supporting and guiding junior engineers with technical matters.
Attend site meetings and provide assistance related to engineering works.
Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales.
Analyzes equipment, systems, processes, and systems to identify modifications to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials.
Selecting appropriate construction materials.
Handle all site reports and documentation regularly.
Maintain project files.
Inspecting properties to check conditions/foundations
Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
