Build up Nepal is working to introduce Interlocking Bricks in Nepal and make safe houses affordable for everyone. We are looking for a Civil Engineer to work in our R&D  team to improve the production and construction process with Interlocking Bricks.

Responsibilities:

• Your job is to improve the production and construction methods of interlocking bricks, and to find more effective methods for quality control.
• You will be reporting to and working with our structural engineer responsible for the R&D department. 
• This is a practical research work and includes making different mixes and stabilizers, producing bricks, testing and analyzing the results. Trying out different mix proportions and conducting tests for compressive strength, water absorption etc.
• You will work independently to find ways to improve the quality of bricks and how to make such methods simple enough that non-engineers can implement it in the field.
• Most of the work will be done in our workshop and production facility in Lalitpur with regular field visits to our production facilities around the country.
