Roles and responsibilities of this job
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and managing civil construction, renovation, and maintenance works within the hospital and college premises.
Core Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and supervise civil construction and infrastructure projects
Oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation works of hospital and academic buildings
Prepare and review drawings, cost estimates, BOQs, and technical reports
Supervise contractors and ensure quality control of materials and workmanship
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and building codes
Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets
Coordinate with management, consultants, and government authorities as required
Maintain proper documentation and reporting of all civil works
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree will be an advantage)
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience (experience in hospital or institutional projects preferred)
Strong knowledge of construction practices, structural works, and site management
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
