  • Registration with a recognized engineering board is an added advantage.

Job Description

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of road construction projects, including planning, design coordination, supervision, quality control, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in roadworks, materials, and construction techniques, and be capable of managing both technical and on-site challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage road construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Review and interpret project designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare and monitor work schedules, progress reports, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective use of materials, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Monitor and control project budgets and timelines.
  • Prepare project documentation including reports, records, and as-built drawings.
  • Resolve site issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant local and national regulations.
