Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in the construction sector to oversee project planning, execution, and site management. The ideal candidate should have expertise in BoQ preparation, quantity surveying, site inspection, and manpower handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates for construction projects.
Conduct quantity surveying and manage material procurement.
Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Oversee manpower handling, including labor allocation and work supervision.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and progress reporting.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to construction activities.
Document project reports, maintain records, and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Civil Engineering (Master’s in Construction Management preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction sector.
Proficiency in BoQ preparation, quantity surveying, and site management.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD Pro, and other engineering software.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
Strong attention to detail and project coordination skills.
