Job Description

Himalayan Ridge Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on structural designing, and planning. The Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while adhering to industry standards, safety guidelines, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations and building codes.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Qualifications:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Preference will be given to those with Structural-related electives and projects).
Solid understanding of Building Structural Design.
Basic proficiency in software applications such as Excel, REVIT, RISA 3D, Mathcad, Bluebeam, CAD Software, etc.
Fundamental knowledge of Building codes, including NBC, IBC, AISC, ASCE, and ACI.
Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail, sound communication skills in English coupled with a productive and problem-solving mindset.
