Responsibilities for Civil Engineer:

• Detailed co-ordination of the internal and external resources that form a project team
• Identify, specify and monitor the implementation of appropriate standards for engineering for design, procurement and construction to ensure compliance with company policy, local regulations and assets that are fit for purpose
• By the production of an engineering definition package, fully describe the technical, process and operational requirements of the asset to be built
• Agree with the site the requirements for project data and provide timely and accurate information required for the compilation of the site documentation requirements
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure civil, structural and planning issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Liaise with site based personnel to ensure subcontractors are delivering that is required
• Undertake site inspections to ensure compliance
• Assess Variations, Requests for Information (RFIs) and payment claims
• Attend and provide input to various safety, design, technical and risk meetings, workshops and reviews
• Review tender specifications
