• Working alongside civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, and surveyors use the technical skills to make sure that building sites are fit for purpose
• Being the main technical adviser on the construction site you will set out, survey, and level the building site
• Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
• Responsible for planning, marking out and leveling construction sites before any building work takes place
• Responsible for the procurement and management of construction materials that are used on-site
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate
• Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
• Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities
