With more than 20 years in the field of Industrial & Medical Gases and Welding Equipments, the journey first began with Baba Gas Suppliers in Butwal with Main Client being NEA Kaligandaki Hydro Power Project. Simultaneously, another branch named Bagmati Gas Suppliers was established in Kathmandu to cater the needs and demands of the Capital’s market. Bagmati Gas Suppliers dealt with Hydropower Projects viz. Trishuli, Madhya Marsyangdi, Bhotekoshi, Chili me, etc. Bagmati Gas Suppliers solely supplied the gases and were the major suppliers of Welding equipments to all the projects. After reaching the heights and specializing in the gases industries completely, Bagmati Commercial Pvt Ltd (BCPL) was found in August 2015 with the motto of Complete supplies of Welding Equipments, Tools & Tackles, Water Pumps, Safety Equipments, WASH construction materials and other specialized items under the tagline of “Bridging the Gaps … ” for complete ind us try building projects and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management

  • Manage and monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking operations to ensure liquidity.
  • Oversee accounting, billing, and financial reporting systems for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Control and optimize import cost structure, landed cost calculation, and pricing models.
  • Supervise budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Oversee end-to-end import logistics process, including purchase orders, shipment tracking, documentation, and customs clearance.
  • Monitor freight, insurance, and clearing costs to ensure minimal landed cost.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners, shipping lines, and customs agents for timely delivery.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse, accounts, and sales teams for dispatch and delivery planning.
  • Verify all import and dispatch documentation (PI, BL, Invoice, Packing List, LC, Insurance).

2. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure VAT, Income Tax, TDS, and customs compliance with Nepali regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for import, LC, insurance, and banking compliance.

3. Internal Control & Process Improvement

  • Implement and monitor internal control systems for billing, credit, and inventory.
  • Introduce digital or automated systems for accounting and reporting (e.g., Tally, ERP).
  • Regularly review credit limits and collection timelines from dealers.

4. Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff and coordinate with depots/warehouse teams.
  • Foster collaboration between sales, purchase, and accounts for smooth operations.
