Job Description

  • Providing the leadership role of the accounts/finance team
  • Providing financial strategic recommendations to the management in alignment with the business
  • Establishing and developing good relations with senior management, external partners and stakeholders
  • Reviewing all formal finance policies and ensuring the accounting and financial systems are up to date and in compliance with the prevailing government rules especially the Companies Act and other Secretarial procedures
  • Advising on long-term business and financial planning and suggest improvements to current methods i.e., existing business addition, modifications and changes to grow business as per five year’s plan
  • Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination
  • Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share
  • Ensuring the establishment and implementation of internal control systems for the maintenance of accounts
  • Preparation and submission of applications to Financial Institutions for financial assistance in form of Term Loans, Short - Term Deposits and timely follow up for necessary sanctions, documentations and disbursements
  • Budget preparation and Budgetary controls, Fund Management and Bank Management 
  • Strategic planning for mergers/acquisitions including new ventures or business start-ups within the industry
  • Account’s finalization by 15th of Aswin every year and submission by 10th of Poush every year
  • Control and Monitor accounting activities in ERP / OMS system 
  • Co-ordination with all departments for compliance and smooth functioning
