Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization towards achieving its strategic goals. As the CEO, you will be responsible for formulating and executing the company’s strategic plans, overseeing investments, and ensuring that all operations align with the company's mission and values. Key Responsibilities:

Visionary Leadership:

  • Articulate and execute a forward-thinking strategy that aligns with our long-term objectives, enhancing shareholder value and driving sustainable growth.
  • Lead the company’s overall operations, ensuring that all business functions work cohesively to achieve strategic goals.
  • Champion innovation and drive organizational change, positioning the company as a leader in the market.

Strategic Investment Management:

  • Lead the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals and deliver strong returns.
  • Present in-depth analyses and recommendations to the Board of Directors and Investment Committee, making data-driven decisions to optimize the investment portfolio.
  • Proactively manage underperforming assets, devising and executing divestment strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, economic shifts, and emerging opportunities, providing strategic insights to the Board.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with stakeholders, including shareholders, regulatory bodies, industry leaders, and the broader community.
  • Serve as the face of the company in key negotiations and external engagements, advocating for the company’s interests and values.
  • Build a strong network with industry peers and government entities to drive business opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical behavior throughout the organization.
  • Regularly report to the Board on risk management, governance practices, and compliance issues, ensuring proactive management of potential challenges.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the company’s annual budget and work plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the human capital strategy, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Board, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders, maintaining a strong reputation for integrity and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in finance, investment, or related industries, with at least 5 years in a top leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale investment portfolios and driving significant business growth.
  • Advanced knowledge of capital markets, financial analysis, and risk management, particularly within the regional context.
