Applications are invited from interested and qualified Nepali nationals for the post of Chief Executive Officer in Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd.(SWBBL)The position reports directly to the Board of Directors on all matters related to organization's programs and administrative functions.
Purpose of the position
To implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization; give direction and leadership for the achievement of the organization's vision, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives; represent the organization and strive to build a strong relationship with all relevant stakeholders especially the target clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Policy Formulations - Collaborate with the Board to articulate the organization's vision and develop strategies for ensuring long-term financial viability of SWBBL along with annual work plan and business plan that support strategy and correlate with annual budget. Formulate and implement guidelines, procedures, internal regulations that are consistent with the policies set forth by the Board of Directors.
Operations and Risk Management - Oversee the operations of SWBBL and ensure compliance with all legal / regulatory requirements and corporate governance by creating and maintaining effective control and risk management system.
Financial Management - Develop annual budgets that supports work plans and prudently manage organizational resources within those budget guidelines.
Human Resources Management - Create a cordial working environment and develop a high performing team committed to the organization by motivating them through their personal development and training programs, reward and recognition process, performance management system etc.
Fund sourcing - Develop, acquire and maintain necessary borrowings and other financial and non-financial resources to meet the organization's objectives.
Community and Public Relations - Develop network and advocate for positive influence on the relevant policies for sustainability of poverty alleviation. Represent SWBBL in various forums and maintain excellent relationships with all relevant stakeholders including the regulators as well as the general public.
Capacity Building - Identify training needs of staff and clients and formulate annual training program and implement it as approved by the Board.
