Other Specification

  • 8 plus years of professional experience working in an auto service industry. Individual with track record for setting up a new service centre would be given preference
  • Should have proven business management experience with an academic qualification in management studies. Degree in Automobile Engineering or equivalent in the related field would be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated experience of leading a team/project
  • Leadership quality to direct and execute the vision

Job Description

Major Job Responsibilities: 

  • Take up the lead in establishing service station/s in corroboration with the design engineer and as per the standard set by the Department of Transport Management
  • Prepare/modify existing SOPs for the centre/s focusing on revenue segment and operational aspects and ensure its implementation
  • Build service team/s capable of running the service centre/s under the direct supervision of the Chief Business Manager
  • Manage day to day business operations once operational
  • Identify locations for future expansion
  • Establish, Manage and grow business relationships to drive the profitability of the company
  • Planning and developing both short and long term strategies to meet the objective of the company and presenting the same to Management team/Board for approval
  • Be key resource personnel in the company’s vision for future expansion as well

Other Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train and motivate the service team of service center
  • Conduct regular meetings with key team personals to define and monitor efficiency and profitability
  • Develop short and long term goals for team/personals within different departments
  • Supervise each team and pay close attention to different aspects of daily operations and recommend course of improvements
  • Focus and work on resolving any customer complaints that immediate subordinates/teams are unable to rectify
