Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to support business decisions.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (CA/ACCA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a trading company.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
